Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, aims to represent the true probability of an event occurring. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets can quickly adjust based on new information and diverse opinions. It's common to see differences emerge, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available.
