Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, however, is driven purely by the collective wisdom of traders, aiming to accurately reflect the true probability of an outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets can quickly adjust as new information emerges and more people participate. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions and information access, providing potential opportunities for informed traders.
