Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which slightly reduces the payout to bettors. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders on Polymarket, aims to represent the true probability of an event occurring. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets can quickly adjust to new information and reflect the aggregated beliefs of a diverse group of participants. It's common to see differences emerge, particularly as new developments arise.

For example, if one player withdraws from the match due to injury, the price of shares representing the other player would likely increase substantially. Unexpected results in earlier rounds of the tournament, or even weather forecasts impacting playing conditions, could also cause the market to react. Monitoring tennis news and updates will be crucial for understanding potential movements in this market.
