Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets aim to represent the true probability of an event occurring, as determined by traders. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbook odds in accuracy, as they benefit from the wisdom of the crowd. However, discrepancies can occur due to differing information or risk assessments. Analyzing both can offer a more comprehensive view of potential outcomes for this market.
