Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ willingness to buy or sell. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is undervaluing a particular outcome, they can create price pressure in this market, leading to odds that diverge from those offered elsewhere. It's common to see differences, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts.
