Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish initial lines based on their own analysis, aiming to balance action on both sides. This market, however, allows anyone to trade, and the price adjusts as more information and opinions are incorporated. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when public sentiment strongly favors one outcome. These differences can present opportunities for traders who believe the market has mispriced the probability of a particular result.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price fluctuates, reflecting the collective assessment of the event. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price is driven purely by supply and demand; traders who believe an outcome is more likely will buy shares, driving up the price, while those who believe it's less likely will sell.
This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the W35 Qian Daohu match. The platform will rely on widely available and trusted sources to determine the winner and settle the market accordingly. Traders should monitor official announcements and results to understand how this market will be resolved and ensure they are aware of the final outcome.
