Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. It's common to see prediction markets incorporate information faster than sportsbooks, especially when new information emerges.
