The price of a share reflects the market’s assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is driven entirely by supply and demand, with traders expressing their beliefs about the match's result through their trading activity. This creates a dynamic pricing system that adjusts as new information becomes available.
