Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially as an event approaches. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many informed traders. However, initial sportsbook lines can sometimes offer value if they diverge significantly from the prediction market price. It’s always wise to compare both to make informed decisions, but remember that this market represents the collective forecast of participants on Polymarket.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price adjusts to reflect the evolving consensus. The current implied probability of a particular outcome is determined by the share price relative to 1; a share priced at 0.60 implies a 60% chance of that outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the W35 Monastir match between Amelia Paszun and Elena Milovanovic. The platform will utilize publicly available sources to verify the winner of the match and determine the winning shares. Additionally, early results from other matches in the tournament, or even weather forecasts affecting playing surfaces, could also cause movement.
