Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially differing from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven by individuals willing to take either side at a price. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public opinion strongly favors one outcome. It’s important to compare the implied probabilities from both sources to identify potential value, but remember that prediction markets are forward-looking and can incorporate information not yet reflected in sportsbook odds.
