Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets aim to represent the true probability of an outcome as assessed by traders. However, it’s common to see a correlation between the two, particularly as an event approaches and more information becomes available. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions, information advantages, or simply variations in market participants. This market may offer a different perspective than traditional betting options.
