Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the wisdom of the crowd, aims to represent the true probability of an outcome, though it can still diverge due to differing information or biases among traders. It’s common to see prediction markets more accurately reflect probabilities, especially as more information becomes available and trading volume increases. Comparing these odds can give you a broader understanding of expectations.
