Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of bettors, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines to balance their risk and ensure profit, while this market is driven purely by traders predicting the outcome. If there's a significant difference, it could indicate that prediction market participants have access to information or insights not fully incorporated into sportsbook odds. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before an event gains widespread attention or when new information emerges.
