Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while Polymarket allows traders to directly assess the probability of an outcome, potentially leading to more efficient pricing. It’s common to see differences, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. Comparing this market to sportsbook odds can reveal where the 'wisdom of the crowd' diverges from expert analysis or established bookmakers' expectations.
