Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, however, is driven by the collective predictions of traders, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities, especially as the event approaches. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply variations in how each entity assesses the players' chances. It’s often insightful to compare these odds to those offered by major sportsbooks to gauge market sentiment.
