Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, opportunities for arbitrage may arise. However, it's important to remember that prediction markets are not always more accurate, but they offer a different perspective based on collective intelligence, and can sometimes reveal information not fully captured by sportsbooks.
