Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of the event's likely outcome. If there's a significant difference between the odds on Polymarket and those offered by sportsbooks, it could indicate an opportunity for value betting, depending on your own assessment of the match.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome.
