Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks typically set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. As a result, you may find that the probabilities implied by this market diverge from those offered by traditional sportsbooks, particularly when public sentiment strongly disagrees with the sportsbook's initial assessment. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially after significant news breaks or public opinion shifts regarding the players involved.
