Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or marketing considerations into their lines, while this market relies on individuals directly betting on the outcome. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before the event, as prediction markets can quickly adjust to new information and differing opinions. However, as the event approaches, the odds on Polymarket often converge with those offered by major sportsbooks.
