Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows anyone to trade based on their own insights. If you find a significant discrepancy between the implied probability on Polymarket and the odds offered by sportsbooks, it might indicate a potential value bet. However, it's important to remember that both represent different assessments of the same event, and neither is guaranteed to be correct. Analyzing these differences can be a valuable part of your research.
