Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is underrating a player’s chances, the odds here will adjust accordingly. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of the players' form. It’s common to see this market converge towards what many consider the ‘true’ probability as the event approaches.
