Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, aims to represent the true probability of an outcome, though discrepancies can still occur due to differing information or risk assessments. It's common to see prediction markets more accurately reflect probabilities, especially as more information becomes available, though sportsbook odds provide a useful benchmark for comparison.
