Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. Discrepancies can arise from differing information sources, varying levels of expertise among bettors, and the potential for market manipulation, though Polymarket has measures in place to mitigate this. Comparing the odds can reveal where the crowd believes there is value, potentially identifying opportunities for profitable trades.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each player winning. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, the price of those shares increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by supply and demand, with traders adjusting their positions based on new information and their own analysis. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds are constantly updated to reflect the latest sentiment.

This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
