Prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and profit margins, while this market is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. If there's a significant discrepancy, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event, or that traders have access to information not yet reflected in sportsbook lines. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional odds, especially when a large number of participants contribute to the pricing.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the collective assessment of all traders on Polymarket, creating a dynamic and real-time forecast for the Sharm ElSheikh tennis match.

Several factors could influence this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions, or even significant shifts in public sentiment could cause the odds to move.
