Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while Polymarket allows traders to directly assess the probabilities. This can lead to discrepancies, with this market potentially offering more favorable odds depending on how traders collectively value the likelihood of each outcome. It's common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbooks in accuracy, as they aggregate diverse opinions and incentives.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective wisdom of the crowd and adjusts in real-time based on new information and sentiment.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the Doldan vs Garay match will be used to determine the winning outcome. This ensures a transparent and objective resolution process. Traders should monitor official sources for the match result to understand when the market will be settled.
