Prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook lines, it might indicate that traders possess information not fully captured by sportsbooks or have differing risk assessments.
