Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market aggregates the views of many individuals. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. These differences can present opportunities for arbitrage, where traders capitalize on price variations between the two types of markets. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither is guaranteed to be correct.
