On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of a particular outcome. As more shares are bought for a specific outcome, the price of those shares increases, reflecting a higher perceived chance of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven entirely by supply and demand, with traders adjusting their positions based on new information or changes in sentiment. The current price of shares effectively represents the market's consensus probability for each player winning the match.

Resolution will be based on the official result of the W15 Chisinau tennis match between Maria Valentina Pop and Arina Gamretkaia. The platform will verify the winner based on publicly available match results from a recognized tennis authority. The outcome will be determined by which player is officially declared the victor of the match, as reported by these sources, and the shares will be settled accordingly.
Several factors could influence this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions (like weather if it’s an outdoor court), or even updates on their recent performance could shift the odds. Unexpected announcements about a player’s fitness or a change in their coaching staff could also cause significant movement. Furthermore, large trading volume from informed traders could signal a shift in sentiment, causing the market to react. Public opinion and analysis from tennis experts might also play a role, though the market is primarily driven by trader activity.
