Sportsbooks set their lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market relies on individuals wagering their own capital. Consequently, you may observe discrepancies between the implied probabilities on Polymarket and those offered by sportsbooks. These differences can arise from varying information access, biases, or simply differing interpretations of the same data. It’s useful to compare both to form a well-rounded prediction.
