Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of a prediction market where odds continuously adjust with each trade. It's common to see prediction markets outperform traditional odds, especially when a significant amount of information isn't yet publicly available or widely considered by sportsbooks.
