Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their books and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to express their independent beliefs about the outcome. If a significant number of informed bettors believe a sportsbook’s odds are inaccurate, we often see the prediction market odds move in the opposite direction. However, as the event approaches, these odds tend to converge as new information becomes available and more people participate in this market.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe in a particular outcome, the higher the price of its corresponding shares will climb, and vice-versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds are constantly updated based on the latest information and collective intelligence.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the W100 Incheon match between Seo Yun Choi and Aruzhan Sagandykova. Any official result announced by the tournament organizers will be used to determine the winning outcome. The platform will then distribute payouts to those who correctly predicted the result based on their shareholdings in this market.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding player form, injuries, or changes in coaching strategy for either Seo Yun Choi or Aruzhan Sagandykova would likely cause movement. Additionally, updates on court conditions or weather forecasts (if applicable) could also play a role. Unexpected results in other matches involving these players leading up to the event, or even significant shifts in public sentiment expressed through social media or sports analysis, could all contribute to changes in the market’s pricing.
