Often, prediction markets are more accurate than traditional forecasts, especially when the outcome depends on complex factors or inside information. However, sportsbook odds can still be useful for comparison, providing a baseline expectation for the event’s probability. It’s common to see differences emerge as new information becomes available and traders update their views.
