Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market allows traders to directly assess the probability of an outcome. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment changes. Comparing this market to sportsbook odds can reveal where the crowd believes there's value or mispricing relative to conventional wisdom.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective intelligence of the crowd.
This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Volley Antwerpen vs. Volley Menen match as reported by the Belgian Volleyball League. The market will determine which team is declared the winner, and shares will pay out accordingly based on the final result. Traders should monitor official sources for the definitive outcome.

Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could all impact trader sentiment.
