Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets aim to represent the true probability of an event occurring as assessed by traders. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, particularly as new information emerges or public sentiment changes. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, this market allows for a broader range of opinions and real-time adjustments based on collective intelligence.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price converges towards what the market collectively believes is the true probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price fluctuations are driven by factors like news updates, fighter performance analysis, and overall market sentiment. The market’s efficiency depends on active participation and informed trading.

This market resolves around Nov 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
