In the upcoming UEFA Champions League game between Villarreal CF and SSC Napoli, scheduled for October 13, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Villarreal CF vs. SSC Napoli match originally scheduled for October 13, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to be more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, particularly closer to the event date. This is because prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, incorporating a wider range of information and perspectives than a sportsbook’s oddsmakers. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, this market reflects the collective judgment of individuals with a financial stake in the outcome. However, discrepancies can exist, especially early on, due to differing levels of information and market participation.
This market resolves around Oct 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Villarreal CF vs. SSC Napoli match – the exact score – will be used to determine the winning contract. It’s important to note that the resolution is based on the official match data and not on any individual’s interpretation or unofficial sources. Traders should ensure they understand the event’s official rules to avoid any confusion regarding the resolution process.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Villarreal CF or SSC Napoli would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also shift probabilities. Unexpected announcements about managerial decisions or internal team dynamics could also move the market. Furthermore, large trading volume on specific outcomes, driven by informed traders or new information, can quickly alter the odds in this market.
