Any outcome not explicitly listed will resolve to 'Any Other Score', and the market handles postponements and cancellations according to specific rules.
In the upcoming La Liga game between Villarreal CF and Elche CF, scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 10:15 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Villarreal CF vs. Elche CF match originally scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 10:15 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the differing incentives and information sources. Sportsbooks set odds to ensure profitability, incorporating a margin for themselves, while prediction markets allow traders to directly express their beliefs about the probability of an event. This can lead to more accurate odds, as they reflect a broader range of perspectives and are continuously updated based on new information. Furthermore, prediction markets benefit from the ‘wisdom of the crowd’ effect, potentially identifying mispriced outcomes that sportsbooks may overlook. The volume of $42,465 in this market suggests significant interest and active trading.
Prices on Polymarket and Predict for this market can diverge due to several factors. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts a different user base with varying levels of expertise and access to information about the teams and potential match outcomes. Trading volume also plays a role; higher volume on one platform can lead to more efficient price discovery. Furthermore, differing fee structures and platform-specific rules can influence trading behavior and, consequently, the prices observed.
