In the upcoming Denmark Superliga game between Viborg FF and FC Midtjylland, scheduled for October 19, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Viborg FF vs. FC Midtjylland match originally scheduled for October 19, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, aims to represent the true probability of each outcome, though it can still diverge due to differing information or biases. It's common to see differences in implied probabilities between Polymarket and sportsbook offerings, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available. Analyzing these differences can be a valuable exercise for informed decision-making.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective assessment of the probability of that score occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time indication of market sentiment. The higher the demand for a particular score, the higher its share price will climb, and vice versa. This creates a fluid and responsive pricing system.
This market resolves around Oct 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result of the Viborg FF vs. FC Midtjylland match – the exact score – will be used to determine the winning shares. The resolution will be based on the official match result as reported by a trusted sports data provider. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score will be entitled to a payout based on the market’s pricing at the time of resolution, while shares in incorrect outcomes will expire worthless.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Viborg FF or FC Midtjylland would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a recent match, could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even tactical adjustments announced by the managers, could also move the market. Furthermore, large trading volume from informed participants could signal new information or a shift in expectations, causing prices to adjust rapidly.
