Description

This market will resolve to "YES" if both VfB Stuttgart and Atletico Madrid score at least one goal each during regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time only) in the UEFA Champions League match scheduled for October 20, 2026, 19:00 UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "50-50." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, particularly as the event approaches. Sportsbooks incorporate a margin for profit, which can skew the implied probabilities. This market, like others on Limitless, allows for more fluid price discovery as traders react to new information and adjust their positions. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets dynamically adjust based on actual money at risk, potentially offering a more realistic assessment of the likely outcome.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing the probability of both VfB Stuttgart and Atletico Madrid scoring. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of the traders. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The higher the demand for a 'yes' outcome (both teams to score), the higher the price will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds closely align with the perceived likelihood of the event happening, as determined by those actively trading it.

This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on whether both VfB Stuttgart and Atletico Madrid score at least one goal during the match. The official match result, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will be used to determine the winning outcome. Traders who correctly predicted that both teams would score will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution, while those who predicted otherwise will forfeit their stake.

Several factors could influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either VfB Stuttgart or Atletico Madrid would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements shortly before the game begins could also lead to rapid price fluctuations. Furthermore, any significant goals scored in other relevant matches happening concurrently might subtly shift the probabilities as traders reassess the overall landscape.
