In the upcoming match between Venezia FC and Udinese Calcio, scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Venezia FC" if Venezia FC are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Udinese Calcio" if Udinese Calcio are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Serie A (https://www.legaseriea.it/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set lines based on statistical models and public perception, this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to be accurate. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is undervaluing or overvaluing a particular outcome, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. This can sometimes lead to discrepancies, with prediction markets potentially offering more accurate probabilities, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available. It's a useful comparison for informed decision-making.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether Venezia or Udinese will score first in the second half, or if neither team will. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, directly reflecting the market's probability assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the price will converge towards what the market believes is the true probability of each outcome. The current top outcome, neither team scoring first, has a chance percentage of 47.0%.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on which team, if any, scores the first goal in the second half of the Venezia FC versus Udinese Calcio match. If neither team scores during the second half, that outcome will be considered the result. The platform will verify the result against official match data to ensure accuracy and transparency for all traders participating in this market.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Nov 6, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Venezia or Udinese could significantly shift expectations. Tactical changes announced by either manager, or even weather conditions on match day, could also impact the perceived likelihood of a quick goal in the second half. Furthermore, in-game events during the first half, such as a red card or an early goal, could cause rapid adjustments to the odds as traders react to the evolving situation. Monitoring these signals is key to understanding potential market movements.
