In the upcoming Serie A game between Venezia FC and SSC Napoli, scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Venezia FC vs. SSC Napoli match originally scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their money behind their beliefs. If a significant number of people believe a particular outcome is more likely than a sportsbook suggests, the odds on Predict will shift accordingly. This can sometimes lead to more accurate predictions, as the market aggregates diverse perspectives and information. However, sportsbook odds can be useful for identifying potential value discrepancies.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different exact scores. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more people buy contracts for a specific score, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived likelihood. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform doesn’t impose a fixed margin; instead, the market itself determines the odds based on collective participant activity. This dynamic pricing allows for real-time adjustments based on new information and evolving sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the Venezia vs. Napoli match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of regulation time will be used to determine the winning contract. No extra time or penalty shootouts are considered. Traders who correctly predicted the exact score will receive a payout based on the contract’s price at resolution. The platform ensures a transparent and verifiable resolution process, relying on publicly available data to determine the winner.
Several factors could influence this market before Oct 17, 2026. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected news related to team morale or internal conflicts could also play a role. Furthermore, any major upsets in other relevant football matches might indirectly affect the perceived probabilities in this market.
