Description

This market tracks which team will finish the third period of an NHL game between Vancouver and New York I as the leader in goals scored during that specific period. The outcome depends solely on the performance in the third period, not the overall game result. If the game is delayed but starts within 48 hours of the scheduled time, the market still applies; otherwise, it resolves fairly.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on which team leads in goals scored during the third period (excluding overtime) of the specified NHL game. Three possible outcomes exist: New York I wins the third period, Vancouver wins the third period, or neither team wins the third period (i.e., the period ends in a tie). All outcomes consider only goals scored during regulation of the third period, with overtime goals excluded. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of its original scheduled start time, the market remains active and resolves according to the official result. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within the 48-hour window, the market resolves to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants.
