This market will resolve "Yes" if the listed team is crowned champion (wins the Grand Final) of at least one qualifying international VALORANT event concluding in the 2026 calendar year. Otherwise, this market will resolve "No." For the purposes of this market, "qualifying international VALORANT event" means any of the following, and only the following: Valorant Masters Santiago 2026 (February 28 – March 15, 2026) Valorant Masters London 2026 (June 6 – June 21, 2026) Esports World Cup 2026 — VALORANT (July 2 – July 12, 2026) Valorant Champions 2026, Shanghai (September 24 – October 18, 2026) In the case of a tie, the market will resolve to "Yes" for the team whose name appears first alphabetically. This market resolves "Yes" as soon as the team wins any one qualifying event; winning more than one is not required. If the team wins none of the listed events, this market resolves "No." If all qualifying events are cancelled, or are postponed such that no champion is determined for any of them by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Riot Games VALORANT Esports website (https://valorantesports.com) and, for the Esports World Cup, the official EWC website (https://esportsworldcup.com/en/competitions/2026/valorant). A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds based on internal models and risk management, then adjust for betting volume. Prediction markets like this one rely on trader consensus—thousands of participants buying and selling shares based on their own research and beliefs. This market reflects aggregated expectations from the prediction market community rather than a bookmaker's line. Both venues can diverge significantly, especially early in the year when information is sparse and fewer traders have committed capital to Valorant outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each team's share price reflects the collective belief that they will win the international championship by year-end. As traders buy or sell shares, the price adjusts instantly. Higher prices indicate stronger conviction; lower prices suggest skepticism. The mechanism incentivizes accurate forecasting because traders profit when their bets align with the eventual outcome, creating natural price discovery around each team's true championship odds.
This market resolves around Jan 1, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the international championship event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winning team is determined by official tournament results and standings published by Valorant's governing bodies and major esports news outlets. Resolution occurs after the final match concludes and winners are formally announced. Early resolution is possible if a team is mathematically eliminated from contention before the deadline, though the standard path is to wait for the actual championship conclusion and official verification.
Major roster changes, player transfers, and team disbandments will shift odds significantly. International qualifier results and regional championship outcomes provide concrete evidence of team strength and championship readiness. Coaching changes, sponsorship news, and public statements from org leadership can also influence trader sentiment. Injury announcements or visa complications affecting key players may trigger sharp repricing. As 2026 progresses, each tournament result narrows the field and updates expectations. Early-season performance at Valorant Champions and regional events will be the strongest catalysts for price movement throughout the year.
