This group forecasts which region will win the VALORANT Champions 2026 tournament. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Shanghai, China, and the winning region will be determined by the region of the winning team as designated by Riot Games.
This market will resolve according to the region of the team winning 1st place at VALORANT Champions 2026 (also known as VCT Champions 2026), currently scheduled for September 24 to October 18, 2026, in Shanghai, China. A team's region is the VCT international league (Americas, EMEA, Pacific, or China) through which it qualified for the tournament, as designated by the organizer, Riot Games. If the winner of VALORANT Champions 2026 is not determined by November 1, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the tournament is canceled or postponed past that date, this market will resolve to "Other". If multiple teams are officially declared co-winners, this market will resolve in favor of the region of the team whose listed team name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Riot Games, via the VALORANT Esports website (https://valorantesports.com). However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VCT/2026/Champions) may also be used. Regions counted in VALORANT Champions 2026: - Americas - EMEA - Pacific - China
The event resolves based on the official VCT competition region of the team that wins the 2026 VALORANT Champions Shanghai tournament. The possible regions are Americas, EMEA, Pacific, or China (VCT CN). Region classification refers strictly to the team's assigned VCT competition region and does not consider player nationality or the country where the team is organized. Each region has a fixed set of four teams participating in the tournament: Americas includes 100 Thieves, LOUD, NRG, and G2 Esports; EMEA includes Karmine Corp, Team Liquid, FUT Esports, and Team Vitality; Pacific includes Global Esports, Nongshim RedForce, Paper Rex, and T1; and China includes TYLOO, JD Gaming, EDward Gaming, and Xi Lai Gaming. The market resolves to Yes for the region that produces the champion team at the conclusion of the tournament.
Several signals and events could significantly impact this market. Major roster changes for leading VALORANT teams, strong performances in regional qualifiers, and announcements regarding tournament format or location are all potential catalysts. Unexpected upsets in preliminary matches or the emergence of a dominant new team could also shift probabilities. Additionally, news regarding player health, visa issues, or team sponsorships could influence trader sentiment. Monitoring these factors and staying up-to-date on the VALORANT esports scene will be crucial for understanding movements in this market.
