In the upcoming La Liga game between Valencia CF and Real Madrid CF, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Valencia CF vs. Real Madrid CF match originally scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from La Liga (https://www.laliga.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often incorporating information and analysis from a wider range of sources than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are typically set by a relatively small number of professional oddsmakers, while this market allows anyone to participate and express their beliefs. As a result, prediction markets can sometimes be more accurate than sportsbook odds, particularly when there is significant public interest in an event. However, sportsbooks may offer more competitive pricing or different types of bets than are available in this market.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores in the first half, and the price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular score is likely, the higher its price will rise. Conversely, if traders become less confident in a particular outcome, its price will fall. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds accurately reflect the latest information and sentiment.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the official result of the first half of the Valencia CF vs. Real Madrid CF match will determine the winning share(s). The outcome will be based on the official score reported by a recognized sports data provider, ensuring a transparent and verifiable resolution process. Traders will be able to claim their winnings shortly after the official result is available.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Valencia CF or Real Madrid CF would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also impact trader sentiment. Even general news about team morale or recent performance could play a role. Unexpected weather conditions on match day might also be a factor, though less directly. Any information that alters perceptions of the teams' relative strengths could move this market.
