Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the collective belief of informed traders. If sportsbook odds significantly diverge from those seen here, it could indicate differing levels of information or biases between the two groups. It’s common to see prediction markets more accurately forecast outcomes, especially when a significant amount of volume is traded, as information is quickly incorporated into the price.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the aggregated sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price is driven entirely by supply and demand; if more people believe Uzun Alexandr will win, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa. This creates a dynamic and responsive pricing system.

This market resolves around Oct 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Uzun vs. Mihai match as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders who held shares in the correct outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution. It's important to monitor for official announcements regarding the match result.

Several factors could influence this market before Oct 29, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected match conditions could significantly shift trader sentiment. Public statements from players or coaches, analysis from sports commentators, and even significant betting activity in traditional sportsbooks could all act as catalysts.
