The result hinges on which team has the most points at the end of the first period, or if the period ends in a tie.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on which team leads after the first period of the Utah vs Toronto NHL game scheduled for Nov 3, 2026. If Toronto scores more goals than Utah in the first period, the Toronto market resolves to Yes. If Utah scores more goals than Toronto in the first period, the Utah market resolves to Yes. If both teams score the same number of goals in the first period, resulting in a tie, the Tie market resolves to Yes. For all markets, only goals scored during the first period count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains open and resolves based on the official result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price.
