Primary resolution logic:

Official NHL final score for Utah vs. Golden Knights game scheduled March 19, 2026 at 10:00 PM ET

Core resolution logic:

  • Kalshi markets resolve YES if combined goals exceed their respective thresholds (2.5, 3.5, 4.5, 5.5, 6.5, 7.5, 8.5, or 9.5).
  • Polymarket O/U markets resolve Over if combined goals meet or exceed their respective thresholds (5, 6, 7, or 8 goals for O/U 4.5, 5.5, 6.5, 7.5 respectively).
  • Both platforms count overtime and shootout goals identically, with shootouts adding one goal to the winning team's score.
  • If the game is postponed, both platforms remain open until completion.
  • If the game is canceled with no makeup, both platforms resolve 50-50.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Shootout Goal Adjustment: Both platforms add one goal to the winning team's final score for resolution purposes when the game is decided by shootout, ensuring consistent threshold calculations.
  • Postponement and Makeup Games: Both platforms remain open and do not resolve until the game is actually completed, whether on the original date or a rescheduled date.
  • Complete Cancellation: If the game is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, both platforms resolve 50-50 across all markets in the group.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official NHL announcement of the final score, including all overtime periods and shootout results if applicable.
