Description

This market tracks which team will finish the third period of an NHL game between Utah and Edmonton as the leader in goals scored during that specific period. It focuses solely on the performance in the third period, excluding any overtime play, and considers potential game postponements or cancellations based on specific timing rules.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on which team leads in goals scored during the third period (excluding overtime) of the Utah vs Edmonton NHL game scheduled for October 15, 2026. If Edmonton finishes the third period with more goals than Utah, the Edmonton market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if Utah finishes the third period with more goals than Edmonton, the Utah market resolves to Yes. If both teams have the same number of goals at the end of the third period, the Tie market resolves to Yes. For all markets, only goals scored during the third period itself count—overtime goals are excluded from consideration. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original scheduled time, the market remains open and resolves based on the final result of the rescheduled game. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of its original scheduled start time, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants.
