Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of informed traders, and can sometimes differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines to balance action on both sides, while this market’s prices are driven purely by supply and demand. If a significant number of traders believe one team is more likely to win the first half than sportsbooks suggest, the price will move accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public perception shifts closer to game time. Analyzing these differences can offer valuable insights into where the ‘smart money’ is flowing.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous double auction, meaning traders buy and sell contracts representing the probability of each outcome. The price of a contract reflects the market’s assessment of that outcome’s likelihood. As more traders participate, the prices converge towards what the collective believes is the true probability. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market depth shows the volume of contracts available at different price points, giving an indication of potential price movements. Traders are constantly adjusting their positions based on new information and their own analysis, which dynamically updates the probabilities displayed on the dashboard.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
