On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different point spreads. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective assessment of the probability of that spread occurring in the fourth quarter of the game. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders adjust their bids and asks based on their own analysis, news, and perceived value, creating a dynamic pricing mechanism. The more a particular spread is bought, the higher its price rises, indicating greater confidence in that outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final point spread of the fourth quarter of the Utah State vs Texas State game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by a recognized sports data provider. The contracts will then pay out based on whether the actual spread falls within the range represented by the purchased contracts. Traders will be able to claim their winnings following the official confirmation of the game's result.
Several factors could influence the price of contracts in this market. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the Utah State or Texas State teams would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they favor one team’s playing style, could also shift the market. Unexpected announcements about coaching strategies or team morale might also play a role. Finally, even significant betting activity on sportsbooks could influence trader behavior on Kalshi, leading to price adjustments.
